In order to support Metrolinx's GO Expansion program, Hydro One has identified areas where the proposed railway expansion will conflict with existing overhead powerlines. These power lines provide a vital supply of electricity to the City of Toronto. As a result, they must be relocated to accommodate Metrolinx's proposed work.
In advance of the project beginning, Hydro One will host two Community Open Houses for residents to learn more about the West Toronto Transmission Line Relocation Project. These Open Houses will ensure community members can learn more about this project, provide technical information to residents, and receive community feedback.
Hydro One will be hosting two Community Open Houses next week . The first Open House will take place on Monday July 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Toronto Public Library Dufferin/St. Clair branch (1625 Dufferin Street).
The second Open House will take place on Wednesday July 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 75 (1-A Ramsden Road).
I have provided the map of the West Toronto Transmission Line Relocation Project below. I encourage you to participate if you are in the affected area.
