Support Our Neighbours

The challenges associated with the current COVID-19 public health emergency is difficult for all of us and our families. It is particularly challenging for those in our City and beyond who are vulnerable or have financial challenges. This includes of course the many local community organizations and charities that work so diligently to support those most in need. Below, I have provided information on organizations and community groups who would very much welcome any support that you are able to provide.

St. Michael’s Homes
Our Place Community of Hope has recently merged and become a program of St. Michael's Homes, a charitable organization that provides a variety of programs, services and supports for men living with addictions and mental health issues.

Aside from the Engagement Support Services, all St. Michael's Homes programs continue to run, despite the COVID-19 outbreak. They have specifically mentioned a need for contactless thermometers. To donate, visit here.

Oasis Dufferin
Provides support to those most in need in the Dufferin and Dupont community.

Accepting: Non-perishable food items, hygiene products, toilet paper, facial tissues, toothpaste, toothbrushes and monetary donations. To donate, visit here
