Speed hump Installation on Turnberry Avenue

Are you in favour of the installation of speed humps on Turnberry Avenue?

In October 2019, a child was hit while crossing the street at Turnberry Avenue and Old Weston Road near General Mercer Junior Public School. Immediately following the incident, concerned residents contacted my office to determine what might be done to address this concern and enhance school zone safety in the area, including consideration of having speed humps installed to reduce vehicle speeds. I asked Traffic Operations staff to conduct an investigation into the potential of installing speed humps on Turnberry Avenue, between Old Weston Road and Silverthorn Avenue and they have been approved. As a result, I would like to hear from you prior to bringing this matter to the October meeting of the Toronto and East York Community Council for final consideration and approval. This poll is only open to residents on Turnberry Avenue and closes on Friday, October 8.
