Police Chief Public Consultations

Public Consultation on Selection of Next Police Chief
The Toronto Police Services Board is in the process to select the next Chief of Police for the Toronto Police Service. The Board’s process has been informed by recent Board and City Council decisions concerning policing reform and enhanced community engagement in the Chief selection process. As part of this Chief selection process, Environics Research, on behalf of the Board, is conducting a series of public consultations.

The public consultation forums have been scheduled for residents of Etobicoke, Downtown Toronto, Scarborough, and North York as follows: 
Dates and Times:

  • Etobicoke – Tuesday, March 30 – 6-8PM
  • Downtown Toronto – Wednesday, March 31 – 6-8PM
  • Scarborough – Wednesday, April 7  – 6-8PM
  • North York – Tuesday, April 13 – 6-8PM
