College & Gladstone Pedestrian and Cyclist Safety to be Discussed at Community Meeting

Area residents have contacted my office with concerns over safety at the College Street and Gladstone Avenue intersection. Residents have informed me that this intersection is heavily used by those, who make their way to, and from Dufferin Grove Park. I have also been informed  that there have been many near accidents involving pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.

Many of your neighbours have asked that this intersection be made safer. In response to this, I would like to propose the installation of a traffic light at the intersection of College Street and Gladstone Avenue.

I invite you to attend this community meeting so I can directly hear your thoughts on this proposal. Staff from the City's Traffic Operations Division will also be present to answer any questions that you may have.

I hope that you will be able to join me on Tuesday April 19!
