City of Toronto to host groundbreaking for Lisgar Park

The City of Toronto and Councillor Ana Bailão (Ward 18 Davenport) will join members of the community to celebrate the start of construction for Lisgar Park with a groundbreaking ceremony.

Date: Saturday, May 24
Time: 2 p.m.
Location: Lisgar Park, 90 Lisgar St. (south of Queen St. W., east of Dufferin St.)

The new park will feature, café-style seating with a garden area, a grove area with shade trees, and lighting mounted on art poles and timber columns.

The park will be a venue for arts events and displays. Local neighbourhood creative talent will be featured along with talented artists from Parks, Forestry and Recreation programs.
