99 Sudbury St and 1181 Queen St W Community Meeting

The City is holding a Community Consultation meeting to discuss two separate planning applications. At the meeting you can learn more about these applications, ask questions and share your comments.

The meeting for the 99 Sudbury St planning application will be taking place from 7pm to 8pm. The meeting for 1181 Queen St W planning application will be from 8pm to 9pm.

This will be the second community consultation meeting for both applications, and will present how the developments have been modified since each of the initial community consultation meetings.

Proposals
99 Sudbury Street (7:00pm-8:00pm)
The applicant proposes to amend the Zoning By-law to redevelop the site with a 26-storey mixed-use building containing a hotel, event space, ancillary retail, and residential uses. The first 6 storeys of the building will contain the hotel and commercial uses (including 101 hotel suites), and the 20-storeys above will contain 190 residential units.

1181 Queen Street West (8:00pm-9:00pm)
This application proposes to amend the Zoning By-law to permit the development of a 16-storey mixed-use building containing 146 residential units and 715 square metres of non-residential space proposed to be located on the first floor. The original application was for a 26-storey building and was appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board.
